Thank you to all who joined us for the IMFC Family Conference to hear a lineup of speakers on the latest in family policy, featuring Miriam Grossman, MD, author of You’re Teaching My Child What?, Brian Lee Crowley, PhD, author of Fearful Symmetry: The Fall and Rise of Canada’s Founding Values, Wade Horn, PhD, former Assistant Secretary for Children and Families within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and a discussion of federal childcare policy with Minister Diane Finley (Conservative) and Opposition Critic Mike Savage (Liberal).

Brian Lee Crowley, PhD addresses the conference about Canada's founding values and how they apply particularly to the shaping of the role of family in society at large.

Wade F. Horn, PhD addresses the attendees on the role of non-governmental organizations and government in shaping family policy based on his experience in both.

Miriam Grossman, MD speaks to attendees on the myths and dangers of current sex education based on her experience over 20 years as a psychiatrist at UCLA.

Kelly Dean Schwartz, PhD presents his latest paper on parenting styles and their effects on children.

The Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, and Mike Savage, MP, Liberal Critic for Human Resources and Social Development listen as Dave Quist introduces them and opens the panel discussion on federal childcare policy.
