About the Speaker
Peter Jon Mitchell is a senior researcher at the Institute of Marriage and Family Canada. His recent study, The Marriage Gap Between Rich and Poor Canadians, reveals a strong link between marriage and wealth in Canada. Peter Jon studies how marriage and family formation affects the welfare of Canadians, including outcomes for children. His prior hands-on experience working with youth helps to inform his research on family issues, including parental influence on teen sexual choices and bullying. |
